Back Ribs
Ingredients:
- 2 racks of baby back ribs (about 4 lbs)
- 1 tbsp salt
- 1 tbsp black pepper
- 1 tbsp smoked paprika
- 1 tbsp garlic powder
- 1 tbsp onion powder
- 1 tsp cayenne pepper (optional, for heat)
- 1 tsp mustard powder (optional, for depth)
- ½ cup brown sugar
- 2 cups BBQ sauce (your favorite brand or homemade)
- 2 tbsp apple cider vinegar
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
Instructions:
- Preheat Oven: Set to 275°F (135°C).
- Prepare the Ribs: Remove the membrane from the back of the ribs (use a knife to lift it, then pull it off with a paper towel).
- Season the Ribs: Mix all the dry seasonings and rub generously over both sides of the ribs.
- Wrap in Foil: Place ribs on a baking sheet, meat side up. Wrap tightly in aluminum foil.
- Bake Low & Slow: Bake for 2.5 to 3 hours until ribs are tender.
- Prepare the Glaze: Mix BBQ sauce, apple cider vinegar, and Worcestershire sauce.
- Broil for Finish: Remove ribs from foil, brush with BBQ sauce, and broil at 450°F (230°C) for 5-7 minutes until caramelized.
- Rest & Serve: Let ribs rest for 5 minutes before slicing. Enjoy!
